Where are sessions held?

As a mobile therapy service, Beyond OT's services are completely community based  and conducted within homes, schools and preschools.

Does Beyond OT complete NDIS and other reports?

Yes! It is important for your child to have reports that demonstrate the progress they have achieved or the plans you may have for their upcoming therapy and care. Beyond OT has a range of reports that are able to be requested to assist you with this need including NDIS Reports and Assistive Technology Reports.

Can my other therapists attend/observe the session?

Yes this is possible, but must be arranged in advance and cleared with the Beyond OT team. Please note, this is an observation or collaborative session, not a training session for your local therapist. Our therapy team will be focused on your child and their individual client goals.

What is the cost of weekly therapy?

Weekly therapy sessions at Beyond OT are currently $193.99 per session.

There is an additional travel fee for all appointments, cost will depend on required service location. This can be discussed during the intake process.

When should I stay home from a scheduled appointment with Beyond OT?

As we deal with vulnerable children each day, we ask that you cancel your scheduled appointment if your child or you have the following ailments:


  • Temperature over 37.5 degrees celcius – please return when fever free, without the need for fever reducing medications

  • Lice – please return after completing home treatment and there is no evidence of live after a physical check.

  • Covid 19 – Please return 5 days from first positive test AND fever free for at least 24 hours

  • Cold/Flu (but Covid Negative) – Please return when symptoms have improved and fever free

  • Recent vomiting – Please return when free from vomiting for at least 24 hours

  • Eye infection (redness, itching, pus) – return after you have received doctor’s clearance

  • Recent Diarrhoea – Return once free from diarrhoea for 24 hours

  • Recent Hospital Visit – Return when you have doctors clearance (note that Beyond OT may require evidence of this depending on the reason for the visit).

What payment methods do you accept?

Beyond OT has various options available for payment including EFTPOS, Credit Card, and bank transfer. This can be paid in person during the session or over the phone via Visa, Mastercard.

Beyond OT's preferred method of payment is via Bank Transfer.

What is Beyond OT's cancellation policy

Beyond OT requires 24 hours-notice if you wish to move or cancel your appointment. Short notice cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment time will be charged at $100 per session missed, and if you cancel on the day of your appointment you will be charged the full session fee. The exception to this rule will be illness related cancellations. If your child is ill and cannot attend their appointment, then cancellation fees may be waived upon presentation of a medical certificate and if you have let us know before 7.30am on the appointment day.

We encourage you to speak with us if the time or day of your weekly session is not working for your family. Due to the extensive wait lists we have for our weekly sessions, any child that routinely misses weekly appointments may have to be moved back onto our waitlist. If cancellations remain an ongoing problem, Beyond OT reserves the right to discharge the patient.

If you need to take a short-term break from your weekly schedule (such as school holidays), then you must give Beyond OT at least 7 days' notice in writing from the first appointment to be missed. Depending on the situation and the notice you have provided, you may need to pay a cancellation fee of $100 per session to hold your spot or we may need to move your child back onto the waitlist and resume therapy subject to availability of both parties.

Beyond Occupational Therapy Pty Ltd reserves the right to make changes to this cancellation and refund policy from time to time to reflect its own updates, or those of the NDIS.
